We fund medical research, the training of healthcare professionals and provide information on all prostate diseases.  We actively campaign to raise public awareness.

We also publish free leaflets, a quarterly newsletter UPDATE, and the acclaimed book "The Prostate: small gland big problem".

In the last two years we have trained over 1,100 GPs and Practice Nurses. In 2007, grants of over £673,000 were awarded to Research and Training: this represents an increase of 83% over three years.

  A new report has been published on delivering more effective care for BPH patients in the UK. It examines the current patient pathway for men diagnosed with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). It aims to highlight the prevalence of the disease in men, the impact on a patient’s quality of life and the importance of early diagnosis and appropriate disease management, particularly in primary care.
