UPDATE - Issue 38 - Autumn 2009

Invicorp no longer available in UK

In the last issue of Update we included Michael Short’s story about living with erectile dysfunction. He told us about his positive experiences with a drug called Invicorp which ‘sometimes can be prescribed on a named-patient basis.’

It was obtained from a company called Adana who held the European licence and were trialling it in Denmark. However, Adana have since gone into liquidation and no other company has applied for the European licence as yet.

After speaking with a spokesperson from a pharmaceutical company who may look at applying for the licence, it became clear that, unfortunately, anybody who wants to get hold of Invicorp in the UK will have to wait for at least two years before it comes to market.

We would like to apologise for not explaining this in the article.
