About half of all men over the age of 50 will suffer from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It’s surprising that for a disease so common, so few people know about it or that it can be treated quite easily. We believe many men and their families are suffering unnecessarily.
To raise awareness of BPH among politicians, the public and their GPs we are holding a parliamentary event at the House of Commons in October. To help us paint a picture of what it’s like to live with it, we need your stories about your experiences with BPH – both good and bad.
If you, or someone close to you, can help please contact Gareth Ellis-Thomas via update@prostateuk.org or at the Prostate UK address.
