Fundraising - We would like to say a special thank you to...
Stitch and Bitch London raised £510 at their annual London Knit Crawl. The Stitchettes walked round some of London’s most iconic sights, including the London Eye, Tate Modern and Trafalgar Square knitting and selling cupcakes to help raise money for Prostate UK.
The Addington Golf Club and Surrey National Golf Club which held charity Golf days to raise £8,987 in aid of Prostate UK.
Inner Wheel Club of Rayleigh Mill for raising £1,000 through various fundraising events during the year in aid of our charity.
The members of The Rotary Club of Colchester Forum who held a sweepstake and other fundraising events to raise £1,600.
Mrs Margaret Haviland. With a cast whose ages range from three to 70 years old, this year’s production of ‘Pinocchio’ put on by Mrs Haviland’s Dance and Drama Studio pupils raised £500 in support of one of our High Fells Walkers, Roger Plail.
Mr and Mrs Lee for holding a garden party to help raise awareness and funds. Through raffles and other activities they raised £1,850 over two days.
